India Retreat 2024
WE ARE VERY EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE OUR UPCOMING INDIA RETREAT. THIS WILL BE AN IMMERSIVE JOURNEY WITH A SMALL GROUP AND OUR FOUNDER, JUDES.
The retreat will be for 10 nights/11 days from Wed 13/11/2024 to Saturday 23/11/2024. We will start in New Dehli, Haridwar, Rishikesh and finish again in New Dehli.

• Day 1: Arrive in Delhi
Namaste! Welcome to India. Your adventure begins with a welcome meeting at 6 pm where you are greeted by your tour leader.
• Day 2: Fly from Delhi – Dehradun (Flight included) then travel from Dehradun – Haridwar (Surface)
This morning, be transferred to the airport to board a flight from Delhi to Dehradun. Then take a drive to Haridwar, one of India’s most ancient and holiest cities. In Haridwar visit the temples dedicated to different Hindu Gods. Haridwar which literally means “Gateway to God”, is one of the four major pilgrimage centers on the bank of holy river Ganges where “Kumbh Mela” (fair) is organized once every 12 years. Millions of devotees across the country participate in this mega event. Upon reaching Haridwar, check in and rest for the day.
• Day 3: Explore Haridwar
Head out to take an orientation walk around this holy city. Visit Har Ki Pauri which means The Footstep of God. This is the major Ghat in Haridwar and it is believed that God Vishnu has dropped the heavenly nectar and left his footprint here. This place is very sacred for Hindus and the pilgrim’s bath here to wash their sins. There are number of temples such as Vishnu Devi Temple, Shravanathji Temple, Maya Devi Temple and Swami Vivekananda Park with huge Lord Shiva statue. During sunrise & sunset an Aarti ceremony is performed Visit the Maa Anadamayee Ashram. This Ashram is dedicated to the Bengali mystic, Maa Anandamayee and her remains are buried here. The Ashram is centre of faith, for many nders of spirituality.
Evening is free to explore the local market or witness the evening Aarti ceremony on the bank of river Ganges.
• Day 4: Travel from Haridwar – Rishikesh (Surface)
This morning after breakfast say goodbye to Haridwar and journey to Rishikesh. Visit the Chaurasia Kutia (Beatles Ashram) and Ram Jhula Bridge, an iron suspension bridge across the Ganges. In the evening, take a stroll along the holy Ganges River as temple bells ring and the nightly re ritual of Ganga Aarti begins.
• Day 5-Day 7: Rishikesh
Enjoy free time at the resort, conduct your yoga and wellness sessions. (No transport or activities included on these days)
• Day 8: Travel from Rishikesh–Dehradun (Surface), Dehradun–Delhi (Flight included) and Delhi–Agra (Surface)
This morning be transfered to Dehradun Airport for your flight back to Delhi. Upon reaching Delhi today, transfer to the Mughal city of Agra and enjoy free time on arrival.
• Day 9: Travel from Agra – Delhi (Surface)
First stop this morning is a visit to the spectacular Taj Mahal. Take in the beauty of this 17th-century masterpiece of white marble set amid beautiful formal gardens. Next, visit the nearby Agra Fort, a huge complex built originally as a military structure of red sandstone by Emperor Akbar in 1565. In your free time, perhaps enjoy a drink or meal at Sheroes Hangout, a social enterprise that employs women affected by acid attacks.
Later transfer from Agra to Delhi.
• Day 10: Delhi
Delhi In the morning, set out for a visit of Old Delhi. Enjoy a Cycle Rickshaw Ride through chaotic streets, such as the famous Chandni Chowk. Make a visit to the Jama Masjid, Delhi's oldest mosque and one of its most impressive buildings. Then visit the Sheeshganj Gurudwara (Sikh Temple) to learn about the Sikh religion. After the visit, take a tour to the famous spice market. Khari Baoli which is Asia’s largest wholesale spice market. This place is crazy and chaotic from the moment the sun rises. As you walk through the market, your senses are sure to be overwhelmed by the intense smell of all the spices. Visit the famous courtyard where these spices are stored and enjoy the best.
• Day 11: Delhi Departure
Your adventure comes to an end after breakfast this morning.
